Shop at our Thrift Shoppe
Every purchase at the Joy Junction Thrift Shoppe helps Joy Junction serve those who are hungry or homeless. If you are looking for a bargain on clothing, furniture, kitchen utensils, housewares, baby items, and more, look no further!
You can also help by dropping off your gently used, clean clothing and household items at 4500 2nd Street SW (our shelter location just south of Bowers Rd SW) from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
Joy Junction residents have access to the store and receive a clothing allowance at no cost to them. The shelter also issues community vouchers, allowing agencies in Albuquerque to send needy people to the shop for clothing and other necessities.
The Joy Junction Thrift Shoppe is located just north of our shelter, at 107 Bowers Road SW. The shop is managed by Joy Junction employees and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday, and is closed on Saturday and Sunday. The “Dome” part of the store, which houses our larger items, like furniture, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday only, and is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
