Every day there are as many as 300 women, men, and children that rely on our Albuquerque homeless shelter, Joy Junction, for food, shelter, clothing, and safety. We are a 501(c)(3) faith-based church ministry that relies solely on the generosity of individuals and corporations in and around the city. We receive no funding from federal, state, or local agencies to assist in our mission ministering to the needs of the homeless.
We Are Available 24/7/365
Because homelessness never takes a holiday, neither does the Christian outreach ministry at Joy Junction homeless shelter. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Regardless of your sex, sexual orientation, race, color, national origin, age, or religion, you are welcome at Joy Junction. We offer temporary assistance to families and individuals as well as longer term transitional housing to accommodate a variety of circumstances.
In addition to the services we offer in our facility, we will also provide transportation services for the homeless who are unable to come to us. We are more than happy to come to individuals in need of housing and bring them to the homeless shelter so they can have a warm place to sleep, clothes on their back, and food on their plate.
