How Vehicle Donation Works

Vehicle donation is an easy way to help Joy Junction and the people we serve every day.

All you have to do is get your vehicle to Joy Junction or we can pick up your vehicle at your convenience. We’ll take the vehicle off your hands for FREE, do all the paperwork and sell your vehicle so you don’t have to. Proceeds from the sale of your vehicle will go to help the homeless in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

We accept cars, motorcycles, trucks and RVs regardless of whether or not the engine is running.

How your Car Donation Helps

The proceeds from your vehicle donation will be used to provide for our guests and the homeless we provide for on our daily outreach program, including food, clothing, shelter and safety. Joy Junction serves up to 200,000 meals per year, so your vehicle donation is a vital contribution to our cause.

Tax Deductions for Car Donations

Donating your vehicle allows you to donate to the homeless while receiving a tax deduction. When you drop off your vehicle, you will receive a donation receipt. You will also receive an information packet that includes instructions for your tax return claim.
