Conrad Chavira – Resident Services Manager
Conrad graduated from Las Cruces High School in 1979, and attended New Mexico State University. He, later, graduated from the New Mexico Department of Corrections Academy and worked at the State Penitentiary in Santa Fe for nine years.
He continued his education in the security field and in 1999, graduated from the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy. He provided oversight and guidance as he worked as an investigator in the Special Investigations Division with the New Mexico Department of Public Safety.
He moved to the Parks and Recreation Department for the City of Albuquerque working as the Safety Monitor and Firearms Instructor. He was responsible for training, leading, and exemplifying firearm safety for those wielding weapons in the city, to help build community safety.
He is currently a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Albuquerque.
